Travel Info: Getting to Wellfleet

HOW TO GET TO MOBY DICKS:

When planning your trip to get here there are some important things you need to know in advance.

Wellfleet is a 2-3 hour drive from Boston. There is a bus that comes to Wellfleet but the schedule is limited. There is no train, taxi or Uber service from Boston to Wellfleet.

FLYING: If you are flying in, we recommend you arrive at Boston Logan Airport. From the airport you will need to take the Plymouth & Brockton Bus to get to us.

You MUST buy your bus ticket ahead of time. You can NOT buy a ticket on the bus. (THIS IS NEW FOR 2018)  You will need to book a ticket from Logan Airport to Wellfleet

When booking your flights be aware that there are only 2 buses a day that come to Wellfleet.  One bus leaves the airport at 9:45am, the other bus leaves at 1:15 pm. Make sure your flight arrives at least 1 hour before the bus departure time.

If you miss a bus to Wellfleet, there is a bus almost every hour that will come to Hyannis, which is 45 minutes away from Wellfleet. You can get a Taxi or maybe an Uber to Wellfleet but it could cost as much $100.00.

We can NOT come and get you in Hyannis.

Once you are on the bus you can ask the bus driver to stop at Moby Dick’s Restaurant in Wellfleet and they will drop you here.
