A FAMILY RESTAURANT

Moby Dicks Restaurant is a very busy seasonal family restaurant in Wellfleet, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. We have two large dining rooms that seat 175 people. Our wait staff does not take orders at the table, but customers order before sitting down. People will wait in line for up to, and over one hour before ordering. We are not full service, but we provide great service. We do not serve beer or wine, but we do encourage our customers bring in their own drinks, and we provide ice buckets, cups, and anything they may need. 

Our menu is comprised of mostly seafood served fried, broiled, grilled and steamed. We serve the freshest seafood available to us, codfish, lobsters, salmon, oysters and scallops to name a few, all delivered daily.  

We always work to go above and beyond to exceed our customers expectations so that everyone leaves happy!  We have been featured on TV, written up in many newspapers, magazines, books, and travel and food websites. We never take for granted the compliments and praise our customers have given us. 

Our season runs from early May through Columbus Day in October. Although there is  some flexibility with the dates of employment, your chances of being hired increase if you apply early and if you can work through the entire season. During the early spring and fall the restaurant is open from 11:30 in the morning until 9 in the evening. During peak season, June-August, the restaurant remains open until 9:30 in the evening. 

Our regular work week is 40 hours, 6 days per week. Expect to work weekends and holidays, these are some of our busiest days. 
(Please note that it is very difficult to accommodate schedule requests and extended time off.)  

All hourly employees are paid time and one-half over 40 hours. All employees are required to sign an employment agreement with an agreed starting and completion date.
